The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire.  If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

A. BASIC SERVICES OF THE FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF:
There is a basic fee we charge every family we serve regardless of their funeral preferences. It includes obtaining necessary authorizations and consents, consultation with the family, administrative and clerical services, personnel availability 24 hours a day, 365 days per year; a fee necessary to cover a proportionate share of our overhead costs such as taxes, licenses, insurance, maintenance of facilities and equipment, utilities, compliance with federal, state and local regulations, and a variety of other costs related to being in business to serve the public. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee, or a portion thereof, is already included in our charge for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving of remains.)

B. TRANSFER OF DECEASED FROM LOCAL PLACE OF DEATH TO FUNERAL CHAPEL
This is a charge which includes necessary staff, use of first call vehicle and required special equipment. (After hours and stand by time is calculated at an amount per hour for each staff member)

C.  PREPARATION OF REMAINS/EMBALMING:
(which includes equipment and facilities for embalming) Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. (California law Health & Safety Code Sec. 1223C requires refrigeration of an unembalmed body if held over 24 hours) Special additional care of autopsied remains.

D. OTHER PREPARATION OF REMAINS:
Dressing and casketing normal cosmetic application
(Additional reconstruction restoration when necessary is charged at per hour.)
Basic care by cleansing and disinfecting of remains (not applicable if embalmed) Refrigeration (First 24 hours)
(Add for each additional 24 hours or portion.)

E. FACILITIES USAGE AND NECESSARY STAFF FOR VIEWING:
Viewing, use of room and attendant during regular office hours. (after hours add per sitting)

F. FACILITIES USAGE, AND/OR EQUIPMENT, AND STAFF FOR DESIRED FUNERAL, MEMORIAL OR GRAVESIDE CEREMONY.
(Our services include setting-up, directing, and coordinating the ceremony, supervision and staff attendance.) Chapel or other facilities followed by concluding rites at cemetery Chapel service only, private unattended delivery to cemetery

All transportation charges listed encompass a 30 mile radius from Vacaville. Additional mileage is computed at per mile one way or per hour, whichever is greater. Service vehicle for certificate service

H. OTHER SERVICES, FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT:
Burial of cremains at sea (private & at our convenience) ., Shipping & handling of cremains by U.S. Mail

ADULT ALTERNATIVE CONTAINERS RANGE IN PRICE FROM:

FORWARDING OF REMAINS TO ANOTHER MORTUARY .
Our charge for forwarding of remains to another mortuary without any attendant rites or ceremony includes, but is not limited to, the basic minimal services of funeral director and staff; transfer of remains to the chapel within a 30 mile radius; embalming; limited use of facilities as necessary; other preparation of the body; use of the service vehicle within a 30 mile radius. Additional charges may be applicable for after hours, additional manpower and mileage.

RECEIVING OF REMAINS FROM ANOTHER MORTUARY .
Our charge for receiving of remains from another mortuary without any attendant rites or ceremony includes, but is not limited to, the basic minimum service of funeral director and staff; transfer of remains to local cemetery and use of the service / utility car within a 30 mile radius. Additional charges may be applicable for after hours, additional manpower and mileage.

PRICE RANGE FOR IMMEDIATE BURIAL OFFERED BY THIS FIRM IS:
Will include the services of funeral director and staff, local transfer of remains to the funeral chapel, transportation to local cemetery. They do not include embalming, viewing, ceremony, taxes refrigeration of remains (maybe required per Health & Safety Code Sec. 1223C) nor any cemetery expenses. Additional charges may apply. (Some cemeteries have restrictions on types of acceptable burial containers)

1. Immediate burial with minimum casket
2. Immediate burial with casket selected from funeral home (in addition to the price of the casket)
3. immediate burial with casket provided by purchaser

PRICE FOR DIRECT CREMATION OFFERED BY THIS FIRM:
NADEAU FAMILY FUNERAL HOME DOES NOT OW'N, OPERATE, NOR ENDORSE THE USE OF ANY PARTICULAR CREMATORY AND ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LIABILITY ARISING FROM CREMATION.
Will include the services of funeral director and staff, local transfer of remains to the funeral chapel and transportation to the local crematory. They do not include embalming & viewing, refrigeration of remains (may be required per Health & Safety Code Sec. 1993C), any ceremony, a permanent cremains receptacle, taxes, nor the physical cremation process (some crematories have restrictions on types of acceptable containers). Additional charges may apply. If you want to arrange for a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are made of uncovered particle- board or cardboard material.
